“What’s Tassman?

Tassman is an extremly rich modular sound synthesis environment based on physical modeling. It is both an impressive collection of unique synths and effect processors, and a tightly integrated synthesis studio which lets you customize instruments in any way you wish or even create your own from scratch.

A huge collection of instruments

Choose from a library of 50 synths and more than 1000 presets created by top sound designers. These offer a near infinite range of creative possibilities, from highly realistic emulation of acoustic instruments, analog and FM synthesizers, loop processors to unique hybrid creation simply not possible by any other means.

A synthesizer or an effect processor

Tassman can be used both as a synthesizer and a real-time audio effect processor. For example, acoustic resonators can be used to add unique texture to your sound. Use Tassman as an effect plug-in in your favorite host application.

The benefits of physical modeling

Sound manipulation at the source core
Presets load in a flash
Super smooth dynamics—no velocity layers!
Small memory footprint
Installs in less than a minute”

“Explore new sound spaces with VirSyn TERA that go beyond the emulation of synthesizer legends. Use the power of analog and digital synthesis combined with new physical models and new user interface elements to navigate through 8- dimensional sound spaces exceeding the limits of traditional sound morphing. The well-designed algorithms and the economical modular structure provides you with a comparatively high voice yield. Wireless patching of modules combined with an intelligent modulation matrix simplifies the development of new synthesizers from scratch. Up to 16 modular Synthesizers can be used simultaneously, all having the same user interface helping you operate this multi- modular system without losing track. Distortion, echo/delay and chorus/flanger/phaser effects for every modular synthesizer help boosts the sound into outer space. VirSyn TERA gives your production an individual character with its unique fat sound. Precise timing even with an external sequencer lets you feel the rhythm. Produce complete productions with VirSyn TERA as a stand-alone tool. Inspire yourself from the newly-designed 64 step- sequencer, expanding the concept of the classic analog sequencer with variable rhythmic structures and chord sequences. Or use the sequencer for real-time transposition of keys to play never-before heard arpeggios. Arrange up to 256 sequences in the song editor to complete the composition. And the integrated mixing console, together with a room simulator and a global chorus effect, helps you in the final production step.

“What’s new

We have streamlined Ultra Analog and brought it to a whole new level.

NEW Home view

With macros mapped to key sound characteristics—modulation, timbre, envelope, and effect—the Home view presents a distraction free and laidback browsing and tweaking experience.

NEW Two-Voice Multitimbral

Ultra Analog VA-3 combines two independent timbres—stacked or split—to create performance-friendly, texture-full, and spacious sounds that are sure to make a good impression.

“Light your Fire

VOX Continental-V brings back the classic sound of the famous VOX Continental 300 through our TAE® physical modeling technology.

It’s Organic

We started with the classic and rare Vox Continental 300 dual manual organ and captured every nuance of the original, right down to the key contact timing and background noises. Beyond this we also modeled the follow up product from Vox inventor Tom Jennings…the J70 organ so you get two products in one.

“The Return of a Classic

Wurlitzer-V is Arturia’s amazingly accurate physical model of the classic Wurlitzer 200A electric piano.

The Wurli 200A piano had a sound that could go from mellow and soft to hard and brash. This harder sound is what made it so popular in rock music as it could cut through a mix like a knife.

A soulful reproduction

Using advanced physical modeling we recreated this complex and dynamic sound.

The output can then be processed and shaped through a host of modeled guitar effects pedals. On the output we give you options like a guitar amp a Leslie rotating speaker or direct for making a vast array of sounds.
