CS-80 V

CS-80 V

“She’s a replicant

CS-80 V is our modeled version of the legendary Yamaha™ CS-80, considered by many to be the ultimate polyphonic synthesizer of the late ‘70s.

Huge in size and price tag, the CS-80 was a flagship synthesizer of the 1970’s. It’s unique dual voice layout allowed for rich and full sounds that have not been matched to this day. It was popularized by artists such as Toto, Jean-Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulze, Stevie Wonder, Vangelis, Ultravox and Peter Gabriel, to name a few. Hit song after hit song has turned this synthesizer into a true legend.

More than three decades after its release, the time has come to rediscover a sound that has contributed extensively to the history of music.

Cube

Cube

“The structure of sound

CUBE 2 is a musical instrument and the ultimate tool for sound designers who wish to have instant and intuitive access to all principal components every imaginable sound is build from. Every sound can be decomposed in a sine spectrum representing the harmonic and inharmonic partials and a residual noise spectrum for the noise components. The spatial character of a sound can be represented by a pan spectrum. The temporal evolution of these three spectra is a very convenient way to describe every sound. CUBE 2 is built around this model and allows you to manipulate the structure of a sound with all its components in a comfortable and musical way.

Resynthesis

Take a sample as input and CUBE 2 analyzes it into two components: up to 512 sine tracks for the partial components and the residual spectrum for the noise components. The outstanding quality of the analyzer for a broad range of sounds avoids the typical artifacts known from time stretching/pitch shifting and granular algorithms.

CZ V

CZ V

“Casio’s mid-‘80s digital synths were light on price and big on sound. One listen and you’ll be really big on the new, improved CZ V.

Like you, we love synths of every flavor. That’s why we just had to recreate the true essence of Casio’s patented phase distortion synthesis that made their CZ series so popular. You don’t need to understand how phase distortion works—just let your ears tell you how cool and unique it would sound in your music.

As you’ve come to expect from all of Arturia’s V Collection, our enhancements transform CZ into an even more formidable sonic force that can transform your music.

dexed

dexed

dexed

“Dexed is a multi platform, multi format plugin synth that is closely modeled on the Yamaha DX7. Under the hood, it uses music-synthesizer-for-android for the synth engine and JUCE as a plugin wrapper.

The goal of this project is to be a great tool/companion for the original DX7. Yes, the sound engine with ‘float’ values parameter; different waveform (a la TX81z) would be great but anything that goes beyond the DX7 should will be a fork of this project. This is to keep the compatiblity with the original synth.”

“The Spirit of Analogue
DIVA – Dinosaur Impersonating Virtual Analogue Synthesizer

The oscillators, filters and envelopes closely model components found in some of the great monophonic and polyphonic synthesizers of yesteryear. Modules can be mixed and matched so you can build hybrids, but what sets Diva apart is the sheer authenticity of the analogue sound. This comes at the cost of quite a high CPU-hit, but we think it was worth it: Diva is the first native software synth that applies methods from industrial circuit simulators (e.g. PSpice) in realtime. The behaviour of zero-delay-feedback filters when pushed to the limit clearly demonstrates the advantages of this groundbreaking approach.

DX7 V

DX7 V

“FM MADE EASY

The DX7 V accurately models the FM digital synthesizer that became synonymous with the sound of the ‘80s. Our enhancements add more of everything to make the new DX7 V a sound for all time.

In 1983, the DX7 changed the world of music. Today, the DX7 V gives you the power to change it again.

Nothing says ‘80s like the sound of the DX7. Our authentic recreation gives you all the same FM digital technology and sounds that earned the instrument a revered place in the history of both keyboards and contemporary music. We didn’t stop at just replicating it, though —we re-imagined it. New operator waves, extensive modulation additions, arpeggiator and onboard FX chains enhance your sonic possibilities exponentially. For bonus points, an intuitive graphic interface makes what was once a daunting programming task a creative joy today.
