Providing a “tutti” orchestra is a first for Vienna Symphonic Library. We’ve recorded our entire Synchron Stage Orchestra playing together, all at once, with multiple microphones. Capturing the sheer power of a massive orchestra with the signature acoustics of Synchron Stage Vienna’s Stage A was one of the most riveting sampling experiences we’ve ever had. We’re so happy with the results that we want to share them with you – as a “thank you” to our worldwide community of music creators, and as a “welcome” to new users.”
“One of a kind
This is truly a first: The Vienna Konzerthaus Organ is the first sampled organ recorded in a concert hall, not in a church, thus blending perfectly with orchestral performances. Obviously, it is also the first instrument not recorded at the Silent Stage, and yet it adheres to our overall sampling concept since it has been captured in exactly the same space that provides the essential impulse responses for our revolutionary Vienna MIR reverberation and mixing engine. That space is the venerable Great Hall of the “Wiener Konzerthaus”, where the famous “Rieger Organ” was installed in 1913. Continue reading Konzerthaus Organ
