„The Ocean of Sound

Für alle Schöpfungen im Meer des Klangs – außerirdische Klangtexturen, typische Analogklänge, knallende Bässe und Leads oder seidenweiche Flächen: POSEIDON setzt einen neuen Standard für Klangqualität und einfacher Bedienung. Möglich wurde dies durch Kombination der konzeptionellen Einfachheit der Analogsynthese und den atemberaubenden Klangeigenschaften unserer neuen F-Domain Synthesetechnologie.

Konzept

Auf den ersten Blick erscheint POSEIDON als einfach strukturierter Analog- synthesizer mit typischer “Oszillator-Filter” Struktur, alle Bedienelemente sind gleichzeitg sichtbar. Diese Eigenschaft macht POSEIDON so einfach und ohne Lernkurve zu bedienen. Die eigentliche Kraft liegt tiefer: Der Oszillator ist der universelle Soundgenerator von CUBE. Die Filter mit variabler Flankensteilheit sind völlig anders konstruiert und basieren auf unserer neuen F-Domain Synthesetechnologie.

Spectral model oscillator

Basis jedes POSEIDON Klangs ist die Auswahl eines der über hundert mitgelieferten Klangmodelle. Das ausgewählte Modell bestimmt wesentlich den Charakter des Klangs: die künstlich erzeugten Modelle sind ein guter Ausgangspunkt für typische Synthesizerklänge, die komplexeren Resynthesemodelle geben die Basis für unglaubliche Athmospären- und Padsounds. Die Erstellung eigener Klangmodelle durch Analyse von Samples ist natürlich auch möglich. Selbst Bilder können über den Bitmapimport zu Klangskulpturen werden! Für richtig “fetten” Klang gibt es die Möglichkeit bis zu 8 Oszillatoren mit variabler Verstimmung einzusetzen.
